⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

What did I just read?! Wild moments that had me questioning literally everything. Like, is that even REAL?! Moments that had the adrenaline pumping, racing to get gobble up the words – NEEDING to know what was coming next. When it was over, I wished I could start over like it was the first time. Just enough humor to get you through it all. Suspense, mind games, all the things you want in a psychological thriller.
⚠️SPOILERS⚠️
In the beginning, Dr. Harper tells us that the cases are being told in the way we need to read them, but not necessarily chronologically. After the trauma of the school shooting – something that the author touches on society being somewhat desensitized to – you’re so shaken that you’re not even considering that fact when the next patient file starts. By the end, you’ve made a hundred assumptions – just like Dr. Harper – and not a damn one has been right. Well, maybe a few, but like Dr. Harper… a little too late.
