“The Butcher & The Wren” left us on a cliffhanger, but the cliffhanger we are left on here… whoa! I really NEED to know how this ends. I mean DANG!
“The Butcher Game” picks right up where the first in the series left off. Jeremy’s presence is heavier and more real through his immense dialogue. It seemed like we got more of Jeremy this time, whereas last time we got lots of backstory about Wren.
Following Jeremy – trekking through WV woods and leaving this bloody trail in his wake – is just such a different experience this time around. I do have to admit, I got stuck on flip phones having flash lights… did they have those?!? I literally don’t remember them having one!
I liked the story, I’m anticipating the third in the series. I loved the little Easter eggs from the pod sprinkled in ~ just things that are said, things that are recent and things that were previously mentioned, stuff that avid pod fans would recognize!
I really want to see “on the yam” or “on the sweet potato” in the next one 😂😂😂😂
I can’t think of being on the lamb without thinking of Ash!
