This one didn’t hit for me the way a lot of Freida’s books do. I was literally SCREAMING at the characters the entire time. Some of it fell a bit flat and felt pretty mundane. However, there was suspense building – true to Freida fashion – and the ending was DEFINITELY unexpected. This one just wasn’t my favorite Freida read. Still a great story, just wasn’t the “norm”, in my opinion.
