Excellent story!

Annie has just been called by her Great Aunt Francis to attend a meeting regarding the estate. Annie isn’t sure what to expect because, well for one, she hasn’t even met Great Aunt Francis! Upon arriving, things start happening quickly. Great Aunt Francis has been murdered – per her 1960s era fortune. Who killed Great Aunt Francis & who will inherit?

Annie reads her way through Francis’s past via her journals. She learns everything she can about Castle Knoll, the people in it & the secrets Francis knew about them. She HAS to solve this murder.

Story in a story – you get a bit of a two for one deal with this one, but in the very best way. Unraveling the mystery of Emily & Francis, the rollercoaster of their friendship, the bond between Rose & Francis, & that of Emily & Francis all while trying to solve Francis’s murder alongside Annie. Unpacking secrets, digging up dirt, & finding the skeletons in people’s closets became a lifeline for Francis, but was it what got her killed? Better yet, is it what will solve her murder?
