Well. This one was okay. I figured it out early. HOWEVER. The author planted enough reasonable doubt to make me hang on. Like just to make sure. & I’ll admit. I was DEFINITELY flip flopping a little. Overall ~ great story, plenty of plot twists to keep it interesting & entertaining. I think I expected it to NOT be what I thought because it seemed to easy if I guessed it right away. Occam’s razor I guess! I wanted to be wrong. Again, I wavered all the way though, so can’t say I unwaveringly believed I was right. I was clutching my pearls several times.
Chloe Davis is engaged, she has her psychology practice… her life FINALLY seems normal. Well, as normal as one’s life can be when their father is a serial killer. As the 20-year anniversary of her father’s conviction approaches, girls are turning up dead. It feels like déjà vu. Could it be a coincidence? Could it all be coincidence? Chloe is faced with her past ~ in more ways than one ~ and will have to reconcile it in order to save more young girls.
